On-Hook Coverage
Should a vehicle that is being towed or hauled by one of your drivers gets damaged by a collision, fire, theft, explosion or vandalism, on-hook towing coverage pays for repairs or replacement up to the policy limits.
Who Needs It?
Towing Companies - Should you damage a customers vehicle while towing it to the yard, on-hook coverage will pay for the damages
Service Stations - Protect your customers vehicles while in transportation or moving from one service location to another.
Trucking For Hire - When hauling vehicle not owned by you, ensure that your business is covered should an accident occur out on the road.
What Isn’t Covered?
Towing Your Car Behind Your Mobile Home - Coverage applies only when commercial vehicles are in use for business purposes.
Transporting Your Own Vehicles Or Vehicles Owned By Your Business - Coverage does not apply to any vehicle owned by you or your business. These vehicles will need to be covered by a separate Commercial Auto policy.
Towing Antique Cars, Race Cars Or Boats For Personal Use - If a vehicle is being towed for personal use, this coverage will not apply as this vehicle would need to be covered by its own separate policy.
